This position focuses primarily on HOA governance, financial management, landscape contract oversight, and complex California regulatory compliance across multiple community associations. In addition to driving primary HOA and common area administration, the AGM maintains cross-functional operational expertise across The Monarch Club complex—including Food & Beverage operations at Adelina's, the Sandalwood Spa, and banquet/event facilities.
Supervisory & Operational Responsibilities Statutory & Regulatory Compliance:
Enforce community CC&Rs, Bylaws, and Rules & Regulations in strict accordance with the California Davis-Stirling Common Interest Development Act and Civil Code.
Financial & Budgetary Oversight:
Assist the General Manager with annual budgets, P&L monitoring, variance analysis, and code allocations across all association entities.
Landscape & Common Area Oversight:
Direct landscape vendor operations, enforcing contract adherence, conducting performance reviews, and maintaining property aesthetics.
Multi-Association Coordination:
Support operational alignment and cross-association workflows between CCMA, WMA, and MRTA.
Board & Member Relations:
Manage board packets, executive minutes, elections, and member dispute resolution (IDR/ADR). Ensure meeting minutes and required portal documents are posted on the website in a timely manner.
Architectural & Compliance Oversight:
Manage Architectural Review Committee (ARC) submission workflows and field inspections across 1,320+ homesites.
Resort & Hospitality Backup Oversight:
Maintain comprehensive operational knowledge across all Monarch Club amenities—including Food & Beverage at Adelina's. Sandalwood Spa (facility standards, practitioner scheduling, vendor relations), and banquets/private events—serving as the primary executive backup to the General Manager and ensuring seamless service execution when stepping in.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Experience & Scale:
4+ years of HOA/CID leadership and experience managing operations in 1,000+ unit communities.
Certifications:
CCAM® (CACM) or CMCA® / AMS® (CAI) required, or equivalent specialized HOA training.
California HOA Compliance:
In-depth knowledge of the Davis-Stirling Act, Civil Code, open meeting laws, and disclosures.
Financial Oversight:
Expertise in multi-entity HOA budgeting, variance analysis, accounting, and P&L management.
Vendor & Landscape Management:
Direct experience overseeing large-scale landscape operations and contract performance.
Hospitality Operations:
2+ years supervising Food & Beverage, spa facilities, and events in a club/resort setting (or equivalent).
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office, board management software, and HOA systems (e.g., Northstar).
Servant Leadership:
Strong commitment to a supportive team culture, empathy, and high-touch member service. t.
Pay:
$90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
