River Oaks Hot Springs Spa is looking for a Guest Services Associate to join our team. We specialize in massage, body and facial treatments, artesian mineral spas, and spa packages.

Job Summary:

The Guest Service Associate will conduct the business of the front desk including: customer service, telephone operations, reservations, computer entries, mineral spa operations/sanitation , cash handling and problem solving.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Follow Safety and sanitation guidelines to clean Geothermal tubs between clients Provide the highest level of customer service to guests and staff Make and confirm reservations utilizing specialized Spa reservation software Answer inquiries pertaining to Spa services; Register guests for services; document all guest services Be knowledgeable of local shopping, dining, entertainment and travel directions Maintain a clean orderly lobby and front desk area Possess a thorough understanding of all Spa operations, scheduling, and procedures Maintain mineral spas throughout the day (opening, cleaning, draining & filling, checking chemical levels, adjusting as necessary, etc) Offers guests assistance with room and treatment locations Maintain neat and organized front desk and lobby area Review front desk log and communicate with other shifts by completing the appropriate sections of the log Be knowledgeable of shopping, dining, entertainment and travel directions Answer telephones, transfer phone calls, take clear and concise messages Keep records of Spa-services availability and guests accounts using computer system Compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift Perform all established bookkeeping procedures and completes the daily reports in the prescribed format. Balance daily receipts as directed using predetermined report formats and protocols. Submit credit card batch reports at the end of each shift Be knowledgeable regarding Spa service rates, reservation procedures, cancellation procedures and computer reservation system Dressed appropriately in crisp and clean black slacks, closed toe shoes Wash, fold and stock laundry items Perform walk-through throughout each shift (i.e. pick up trash, re-stock supplies, check mineral spas)Other duties may be assigned by

Management Qualifications:

Appointment booking experience required. Must be available evenings and weekends Reliable and professional Must have appropriate, professional attire Computer literate An interest in health and wellness Willingness to take on additional tasks as needed Ability to multi-task Must be 21+ to apply
