Exempt Status:
Exempt HenHouse Brewing Co. is seeking a multi-unit Taproom General Manager to join our team. In this role you will lead day-to-day operations of multiple taproom locations. Ideal candidates will bring passion and experience in the beer, food and beverage industries, as well as extensive team management experience. You will work with the retail director, lead bartenders, bartenders, vendors, and various internal teams, to help create a healthy working environment, a consistently high level of guest experience, and a profitable business. You must have a passion for craft beer, hospitality, and service, as well as exceptional communication and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize projects and tasks effectively. You will work on site across multiple locations throughout the North Bay including our taprooms in Santa Rosa, Petaluma, and Novato as well as coordinating special events across locations and off-site as needed. The work schedule will be five days per week, including weekends and most holidays. Scheduling flexibility is a requirement for this position. For more information visit www.fphh.beer Prior Experience Successful applicants for this position will likely possess the following minimum experience: 1+ year multi-unit management experience 3+ years experience as G.M. or equivalent of taprooms, bars, restaurants, etc. 5+ years in the beer, bar, or restaurant industry Deep connection and understanding of the local Sonoma / Marin market Primary Skills (Required) Depth of knowledge within the general craft beer industry as well as local craft beer scene Passion for local craft beer Ability to lead and motivate a team Ability to develop and maintain SOPs Strong interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to excellence and high standards Versatility, flexibility, dependability and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills Honesty and integrity

  • accepts responsibility for behavior; and starting, controlling and completing tasks Responsibilities Coordinate with the retail director and lead bartenders to implement change, systemize across locations, continually drive standards higher Manage broad areas of responsibility including staffing, beverage ordering/receiving, daily/weekly accounting, repairs & maintenance, general supplies ordering, food truck management, taproom activation programming, staff education, various administrative duties, event planning, management and execution, etc.
