Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact by providing high-quality speech-language pathology services in an elementary school setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. This in-person, contract opportunity is perfect for Speech-Language Pathologists holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), seeking to work closely with a vibrant school community near Petaluma, CA. You'll collaborate with dedicated educators and supportive staff while helping young learners reach their communication goals throughout the full school year.

Desired Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), required Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain before start date) Experience in a school-based setting is desired, but strong clinical skills will be considered Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Passion for supporting elementary-aged students in their academic and social growth

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students at a single elementary school site Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student needs and ensure effective communication strategies Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and legal guidelines Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized educational plans Employ evidence-based practices and adjust therapy based on student response This contract role offers a consistent Monday through Friday daytime schedule, with 35 hours per week throughout the full school year.
