Full Job Description Job Title:
Assistant Manager (Full time or Part time available) We are looking for a strong, service driven Floor Manager to join our team at a high energy, multi level waterfront restaurant and bar. We serve California Asian cuisine featuring fresh sushi and sashimi alongside a variety of hot and cold dishes. Our two story space includes indoor and outdoor dining with ocean views, along with two cocktail bars, creating a fast paced and dynamic environment where no two shifts are the same. This is a hands on leadership role for someone who thrives on the floor, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in creating a great guest experience. We are looking for someone who is energetic, responsible, detail oriented, and ready to take ownership of their role. Our team operates like a family, and we are looking for someone who is excited to step in, embrace our style, and grow with the restaurant as we continue to expand. What You Will Do Lead and manage the floor during service alongside the management team Oversee and support a team of about 40 front of house staff Maintain a high level of guest experience and overall service quality Handle guest interactions and resolve issues with professionalism and confidence Keep service running smoothly and efficiently throughout each shift Support staff development, communication, and team morale Qualifications Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality management, or a strong lead ready to step up Comfortable working in a fast paced, high volume environment Strong presence on the floor with clear communication and leadership skills Familiar with POS systems, OpenTable, and basic Excel, or willing to learn Knowledge of wine and sake is a plus, or willingness to learn Previous serving or bartending experience is strongly preferred Must be available weekday evenings, weekends, and holidays Must be able to move frequently between first and second floors Spanish is a plus but not required Food Handler Manager Certification is desirable but not required Compensation and Schedule Compensation is negotiable and dependent on experience The listed salary reflects a full time position, but we are also open to part time Floor Managers Opportunity for growth as we expand
