A world-renowned food service brand is seeking a dynamic, hands-on General Manager to oversee a high-profile restaurant in beautiful Santa Barbara, California. With a pristine, high-traffic location, this unique site combines an iconic food and beverage experience with a specialty retail component. Position Responsibilities Manage all day-to-day operations for a combined restaurant and specialty retail concept. Oversee team hiring, training, scheduling, performance management, and career development of team members Manage store financial performance, including P&L accountability, labor optimization, Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), and inventory control using POS systems Foster an engaging guest service culture focused on high operational standards, food safety, and brand compliance. Drive community engagement, local store marketing, and local vendor partnerships to grow annual revenues. Maintain open, proactive communication with regional and corporate support teams across HR, finance, and supply chain. Position Requirements 3+ years as a General Manager or AGM from a restaurant or F&B operation ready for the next step. Strong financial acumen with demonstrated experience managing labor costs, COGS, and operational budgets. Passionate team leader focused on coaching, mentoring, and staff retention for a team of at least 8-10. Exceptional self-sufficiency, resourcefulness, and problem-solving abilities. Willingness to travel for 4 to 5 weeks of comprehensive offsite onboarding and training. Deep connection to or enthusiasm for engaging with the local Santa Barbara community.
