Job Description
The Victor Restaurant & Bar at The Genevieve is seeking a driven and hospitality-focused leader to manage daily operations and the execution of special events. The ideal candidate will bring a strong floor presence, leadership skills, and a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences. This role requires effective leadership skills to manage staff, maintain inventory, and ensure compliance with health & food safety regulations. Responsibilities Manage Front of House and Banquet staff. Includes hiring, training, scheduling, and retaining employees. Ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times by all team members. Touch tables, assist staff as needed on the floor, and manage customer feedback and complaints. Ensure all areas are properly maintained, clean, safe, and in compliance with all health code regulations. Work with marketing team on promotions and campaigns. Cultivate a strong community presence. Oversee the execution of special events. Manage reservations and POS system. Complete a variety of administrative tasks, including inventory management, documentation of employee concerns, daily recaps, nightly paperwork, and financial reports. Desired Qualifications Flexible schedule with weekends and nights required 2+ years in restaurant or hospitality management Strong computer skills Knowledge of California labor laws Excellent leadership, delegation, and communication skills Calm and composed under pressure Working knowledge of Tock, POS systems, and basic budgeting Passion for creating meaningful guest experiences Bartending experience ServSafe Manager and RBS certification or willingness to obtain Benefits Health, Vision, & Dental benefits available after 30 day wait period
