We are looking for an experienced assistant manager for our PM shift. This person must be proficient in and have experience in the restaurant industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional service, maintaining food safety standards, and supervising staff to create a positive dining experience for our guests. This position requires strong leadership skills and a passion for the hospitality industry. We have an amazing and diverse team of people who work hard to provide our customers with delicious food and excellent service. We are looking for someone who enjoys doing things well and knows how to motivate and manage a team. Ideal candidate will be kind, efficient, friendly and hard working.
Hours:
Monday to Saturday 4pm to close (around 9pm) Duties Greet customers, take orders, answer questions, and handle customer complaints with a professional and positive attitude. Cash drawer management. Manage and deliver large catering orders. Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, including shift management and kitchen activities. Supervise and train staff to ensure high standards of service and adherence to food safety regulations. Monitor food handling practices to maintain compliance with health and safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and presentation of menu items, particularly in a fine dining setting. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock for both the kitchen and dining area. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction. Support the development of staff training programs to enhance team performance and service quality. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the restaurant environment. Requirements Must be fluent in Spanish and English. Knowledge of Argentina is a plus. Must have valid driver's license and good driving record. 4 or more years experience in restaurant customer service. Proven experience in supervisory role. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen management principles. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Familiarity with coffee preparation and service is a plus. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. A passion for the hospitality industry with a commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences.
