We are rapidly expanding across the front range, and we are looking for someone eager to be a part of our growth. Prost Brewing Co. produces some of the best and award-winning German style biers in the country and our Biergartens match that quality with our food. We offer a true Biergarten experience with German and American comfort classics. We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager with a strong ability to train and mentor other cooks. This position will be a true working KM position, including prep, line, expo, ordering, and inventory management. Responsibilities Supervise all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Control food costs through effective ordering and waste reduction. Oversee food safety standards, including proper handling, storage (FIFO), and sanitation procedures. Schedule staff efficiently ensuring both prep and service operate smoothly with a high standard of food quality. Oversee scheduled menu item rollouts with training staff on new items, both in prep and production and updating order guides. Conduct staff interviews, future hiring, and ongoing training to develop a high-performing culinary team. Foster a positive and inclusive team environment through effective communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills. High standards in kitchen cleanliness including proper maintenance of all equipment, storage, and general upkeep of all areas of the BOH. Experience Experience managing kitchen operations in a fast casual, from scratch kitchen with a strong understanding of food preparation and cooking techniques. Demonstrated supervisory experience in hospitality management or restaurant management roles with a focus on team leadership and training. Extensive background in food safety management, inventory control, and food handling procedures within the food industry. Experience in opening new restaurant locations is preferred, however a strong ability to train a new team of all skillsets is paramount. Strong communication and leadership ability including working with the front of house.
