Our Assistant Managers work alongside the GM to help with maintaining the energy of the shops. We're looking for someone who takes on our model of Servant Leadership. They're hands-on, working shifts alongside their teams while training and coaching, as well as representing Chook to our community and engaging with all our guests (who they quickly turn into regulars). Availability:

Scheduled as a regular employee with weekend and night availability preferred.

Performance Expectations:

• Provides positive leadership to the entire staff.
• Ensures staff is on time and ready to work when the General Manager is not present. Alerts GM asap if staff is late or does not arrive.
• Proper cash handling skills.
• Successful key and alarm management.
• Acts as a representative of the Chook brand while in or out of the restaurant.
• Communicates clearly with guests, staff, managers, and ownership promptly.
• Trains and guides staff to follow standards of Chook.
• Builds a clientele of regulars from within and outside of the immediate community.
• Punctual for all scheduled shifts and work events.

Preferred Experience:

• Effective written and speaking skills.
• Enjoys sharing passion for food and hospitality with others.
• High tolerance for stressful situations.
• Ability to solve problems with a mindful approach to people, planet, and profit.
• Experienced in training staff in multiple roles throughout the restaurant.
