We are seeking a trusted professional to support a couple in their home and help make daily life run smoothly. The role This role supports a couple in their central Denver home, where one spouse is living with moderate Alzheimer's disease. You will provide thoughtful companionship and support for that spouse while helping manage the household responsibilities she can no longer consistently handle. The right person brings both compassion and initiative. You will help create an engaging daily routine, prepare meals, shop, keep the home tidy and organized, coordinate errands and appointments, and care for household pets. You will notice what needs attention and follow through, while respecting both spouses' preferences and the fact that this is their home. We are looking for someone who enjoys making a household run well and wants to build a lasting, trusted relationship with the couple. We are looking for someone who has shown commitment and longevity in their positions to be considered. What you'll do Keep the household running Prepare meals and help plan food around the couple's preferences. Shop for groceries and household supplies, keep track of what is needed, and handle errands. Tidy shared spaces, clean up after meals, assist with laundry, and provide light housekeeping. Work with household vendors to ensure items are completed Organize household items, schedules, and daily tasks. Anticipate needs and take ownership of household responsibilities that might otherwise go undone. Help care for household pets, including feeding, walks, and other routine needs as appropriate. Strong professional organization skills Support a fulfilling daily routine Build a warm, respectful relationship with the spouse living with Alzheimer's disease. Plan and participate in activities suited to her interests and abilities, such as walks, outings, hobbies, conversation, or time with pets. Offer gentle reminders and support with routines while respecting her choices and independence. Respond calmly to confusion or changes in routine and share relevant observations with the family and Accessum team. Coordinate and communicate Drive members of the household to appointments, errands, and activities as needed. Maintain useful lists, schedules, and brief notes so important details are easy to find and follow. Communicate clearly and discreetly with the couple, their family, and the Accessum team. Treat private family information with care and confidentiality. What we're looking for Experience managing a household or coordinating multiple day-to-day responsibilities in a private home or similar setting. Strong organization, follow-through, and the ability to work independently.

you notice what needs doing and take appropriate action. Empathy, patience, and respect for someone living with memory changes. Good judgment, reliability, and clear, professional communication. Comfort with cooking, shopping, light housekeeping, organizing, and helping with pets. A history of commitment in previous roles and an interest in a long-term position. A valid driver's license, a reliable personal vehicle for work-related transportation, and the ability to meet applicable driving and insurance requirements. Work-related mileage is reimbursed. Ability to pass a background check and driving record check, as permitted by law. Experience as a household manager, family assistant, personal assistant, or in a similar role is preferred. Experience supporting someone living with dementia is helpful, but we can teach dementia support approaches to someone with strong household management skills and the right temperament.
