Job Description

A Denny's Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in daily operations, staff supervision, and guest satisfaction to maximize restaurant profitability. Key duties include managing shifts, maintaining food safety, controlling inventory, and stepping in to run the 24/7 diner when the GM is absent.
Shift Management:
Oversee daily Front-of-House (FOH) and Back-of-House (BOH) operations, ensuring smooth workflow during peak hours.
Guest Services:
Maintain Denny's standards of quality and service, promptly resolving any customer inquiries or complaints.
Team Leadership:
Supervise, train, and schedule 5-20 crew members, while ensuring employee retention and a positive work environment.
Business Operations:
Help track profit and loss (P&L) statements, manage inventory, minimize waste, and operate POS systems.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure the diner adheres strictly to food safety regulations, sanitation codes, and brand standards.
Requirements & Work Environment Physical Demands:
Requires extensive standing without breaks, exposure to heat and cold, and the ability to frequently lift up to 20 lbs.
Availability:
Must be willing to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays to cover the 24/7 business model AFLAC Sick Pay Closed Christmas 401
