The General Manager is responsible for overseeing, directing, and coordinating the planning, organizing, training, and leadership necessary to meet company objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation. Ensure consistent adherence to all restaurant policies, procedures, standards, and training programs. Monitor and maintain compliance with health, fire, and safety regulations. Drive sales, service quality, and operational excellence through employee development and a positive work culture. Oversee food preparation, portion control, presentation, and consistency standards. Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local health, safety, and labor regulations. Manage cash handling, bank deposits, and financial reconciliation in accordance with company policy. Investigate and resolve guest complaints related to food quality, service, or accommodations. Review financial reports, sales data, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement. Monitor budgets, payroll records, and expenditures to ensure alignment with operational goals. Maintain accurate food and equipment inventories. Schedule staff, assign duties, and manage hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Lead employee development programs and administer fair, consistent corrective actions when needed. Plan menus and food utilization based on guest volume, cost targets, and nutritional considerations. Coordinate equipment maintenance, repairs, and vendor services. Analyze menu performance and costs to support pricing strategy. Collaborate cross-functionally to continuously improve service, safety, and operational performance.
