Position:
Assistant Manager, Part-Time We're looking for a career Assistant Manager to join our team, working directly with the Chef-Owner, Restaurant Manager, and the entire team. You will help bring Joylark's vision of hospitality to life, ensuring that the Joylark experience is exceptional, ultimately bringing happiness to our guests. - Overseeing all aspects of the Front of House, including staffing, inventory, cleanliness, operations, and vendor management.
- Providing hands-on service directly to guests as part of an overall hospitality program.
- Driving continued improvement in service operations and guest experience.
- Working with the Chef-Owner and Restaurant Manager as the triad of the Management Team for maximum efficiency and profit.
- Upholding standards of cleanliness, safety, and organization in accordance with health regulations and Joylark's culture.
- Assisting other areas of the company as needed, including Expo, cooking or prep, dishes, etc.
- Taking on special projects to be determined by you and the Management Team. We're Seeking Someone Who Has
- 5+ years' experience as a successful Manager in an upscale restaurant environment, with all associated skills and knowledge.
- Plant-based knowledge and experience is preferred, but not required.
- Genuine desire to provide the best in hospitality, always striving for more.
- Depth of knowledge of restaurant operations and profit-maximizing strategies.
- Abilities to work under pressure, and to make the most of less busy times.
- Flexible schedule.
- ServSafe and Bartending certification are a bonus, but not required.
- A professional, happy attitude and demeanor, and ability to get along well with others.
