Banquet Manager

The Banquet Manager at the Lewes Yacht Club is the go-to person for making every event a hit! Whether it's a wedding, party, or banquet, you'll work closely with our members to plan a fantastic event, lead a dynamic team, and ensure every detail from setup to breakdown runs smoothly. Responsibilities:

Work all events, and ensure supervision and quality of service for all event functions. Create Banquet Event Orders and coordinate with the Executive Chef to ensure that clients' specifications are met Meet with Club members & guests, book events according to the LYC Event Planning Guide, and coordinate the event calendar for the Club. Coordination of food and beverage delivery for events at the Club. Coordinate with other departments (accounting, kitchen, dining room) to ensure successful events.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

1-2 years of experience as an Event Coordinator in private club. Minimum of 2 years experience as a staff member in banquets/events. A highly organized skillset and ability to create and effectively communicate BEOs. A commitment to providing exceptional service to every guest The ability to work well with people with a dynamic and engaging leadership presence A strong work ethic and a desire to learn A thorough knowledge of event operations Stable job history that shows progressively increasing responsibilities
