Il Migliore — Boca Raton, FL $150,000+ per year + Performance Bonuses About Il Migliore Il Migliore is a new luxury Italian restaurant opening in Boca Raton, Florida, and is the sister restaurant of Buon Appetito Ristorante & Pizzeria , an established and very busy Italian restaurant in North Stonington, Connecticut. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated General Manager to join our team and lead Il Migliore through its opening and beyond. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional to be part of a new luxury Italian concept while working closely with an established restaurant ownership team. The Opportunity We are particularly interested in experienced candidates who are willing to relocate to Boca Raton, Florida , including qualified hospitality professionals currently based in Connecticut who are interested in making the move to Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in luxury dining, upscale hospitality, and high-volume restaurant operations , with the leadership skills needed to build and manage a team from the ground up. Responsibilities Lead all day-to-day operations of Il Migliore Work closely with ownership throughout the restaurant opening Establish and maintain exceptional service and hospitality standards Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team Build a strong restaurant culture centered around hospitality and excellence Oversee front-of-house operations and coordinate closely with the culinary team Manage scheduling, staffing, and employee performance Monitor sales, labor costs, inventory, and operating expenses Handle guest relations and resolve concerns professionally Maintain the restaurant's luxury atmosphere and brand standards Build strong relationships with guests and develop repeat clientele Lead the restaurant during high-volume services and special events Work with ownership on sales initiatives, events, and business development Analyze operational and financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement Qualifications 5+ years of restaurant management experience preferred Proven experience managing an upscale, luxury, or high-volume restaurant Luxury hospitality or fine-dining experience strongly preferred Experience opening a new restaurant is a major plus Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Proven ability to recruit, train, and retain exceptional staff Strong understanding of restaurant financials, labor management, and cost control Professional, polished, and guest-focused Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment Strong knowledge of luxury service standards Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Compensation Additional performance-based bonuses available. Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the position.
