Job Description

Jimmy P's is a hiring Catering Coordinator/Manager.
Job Summary:
The Catering Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing all aspects of catering services. This includes coordinating with clients, managing event logistics, ensuring timely food preparation and delivery, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for catering clients, from inquiry to event completion. Work with clients to understand their needs, recommend menu options, and finalize catering orders. Coordinate logistics including scheduling, staffing, equipment rentals, and transportation. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food quality, portioning, and presentation standards are met. Prepare and maintain event orders, contracts, and invoices. Oversee on-site setup and breakdown of catering events when required. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards. Handle client feedback and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. Maintain accurate records and reports for all catered events. Assist in marketing and promotional efforts for the catering department.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Hospitality, Event Planning, or a related field is a plus. 1-3 years of experience in catering, hospitality, or event coordination. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Quickbooks(preferred) Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Valid driver's license
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of food and beverage service. Customer service or sales background. Experience with large-scale event planning. Management experience is preferred as you will be managing a small staff of employees.

Full-time Pay:
$52,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
