JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

:

• Manage the entire operation while on duty, providing oversight of both front office and dog related responsibilities
• Check customers in and out, respond to inquiries, maintain records, and perform general clerical work.
• Monitor dogs and ensure dogs are safe and healthy during play time. The kennel is open play, meaning the dogs spend most of the day playing with other dogs.
• Clean the grounds and facilities.
• Feed dogs and provide medications as needed
• Perform basic grooming services such as baths and nail trims.
• Perform general tasks and step in to help your team as needed.
• Monitor staff performance, reviews, hiring and more
• Ensure financial goals are met

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES

:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a dog kennel is required. Preference for someone with both dog handling experience as well as front office experience.
• A minimum of 2 years managerial experience preferred
• Customer service is absolutely key for this position. You must be customer oriented, going above and beyond to make all customers (both dogs and dog owners) happy.
• Be an energetic person with a great work ethic. This means you are never sitting or standing around, always looking to help out, high energy and constantly moving around. This is NOT a job where you sit around and play with dogs.
• Ability to show up on time for all shifts. If you do not have the ability to wake up early and start working, or are not a punctual person, this is not the job for you.
• Have a love and patience for dogs
• Have experience with dogs and not be afraid of dogs
• Have the ability to be on your feet for 5+ hours at a time.

Pay:

$18.00
