A distinguished private golf and country club in Fort Myers is seeking an accomplished and dynamic Dining Room Manager to lead front-of-house operations and help shape an exceptional member dining experience. The club offers multiple dining venues, elevated culinary experiences, private events, and a dynamic calendar of member activities. The Dining Room Manager will play a key leadership role in ensuring every service reflects the club's standards of hospitality, professionalism, and personalized service. The Opportunity The Dining Room Manager will have significant responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of dining room operations while partnering closely with the Food & Beverage Director and culinary leadership. We are looking for a polished, confident, and service-driven leader who can successfully balance people leadership, operational execution, member relationships, and business performance . Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee daily front-of-house operations for assigned dining venues and member events. Set the standard for exceptional service, professionalism, hospitality, and dining room presentation. Provide visible, hands-on leadership during service and ensure smooth execution from opening through closing. Build meaningful relationships with members and anticipate their needs through personalized and attentive service. Partner closely with culinary leadership to ensure seamless communication and coordination between the kitchen and dining room. Recruit, train, coach, mentor, and develop front-of-house team members. Establish clear expectations and hold team members accountable to club service standards. Conduct pre-shift meetings, service briefings, and ongoing training focused on service excellence. Oversee table assignments, reservations, floor plans, service pacing, and overall dining room flow. Assist with staffing plans, scheduling, labor management, and productivity. Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, service standards, and adherence to established procedures. Support inventory management, purchasing controls, and cost-containment initiatives. Assist with budgeting and operational reporting as directed by the Food & Beverage Director. Take ownership of member concerns and service recovery with professionalism, discretion, and urgency. Support the planning and execution of club events, private functions, holiday programs, and special dining experiences. Maintain a clean, organized, polished, and welcoming dining environment. Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and club policies. Serve as a key leadership presence and ambassador for the club's hospitality culture. Step into broader operational leadership responsibilities as needed in support of the Food & Beverage leadership team. What We're Looking For 4+ years of progressive experience in upscale dining, private clubs, luxury hotels, resorts, or high-end hospitality. Previous experience managing a dining room, restaurant, banquet operation, or comparable front-of-house environment. Demonstrated success leading, coaching, and developing hospitality teams. Strong knowledge of elevated dining room service and hospitality standards. Experience with wine and beverage service, service sequence, and dining room operations. Strong understanding of labor management, scheduling, inventory, and operational controls. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain composed, professional, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Professional presence with a hands-on leadership style . Ability to build trust and credibility with both members and team members. Strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive member matters. A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences.
