$80,000-$110,000 Clay Theatre is one of Northeast Florida's premier wedding and event venues, hosting approximately 100 events each year. We're looking for an exceptional General Manager to lead our operation and help us take it to the next level. This isn't a wedding planner position. We're looking for a leader who can build a team, improve systems, solve problems, and deliver an incredible experience for every client. What You'll Do Lead the day-to-day operation of the venue. Manage weddings and special events from booking through execution. Oversee client meetings, vendors, and event staff. Ensure every event meets our standards for quality and service. Manage scheduling, contracts, timelines, and event logistics. Ensuring the venue stays in top shape and ready to go. Continuously improve our systems, processes, and customer experience. What We're Looking For A confident, professional leader who enjoys serving people and managing a team. Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail. Calm under pressure and able to solve problems independently. Strong communication and leadership skills. Someone who takes ownership and treats the business as if it were their own. Experience managing a hotel, country club, restaurant, event venue, or similar hospitality operation is preferred. Wedding experience is a plus but not required. Schedule & Expectations This is a leadership position in the hospitality industry. Our busiest times are when our clients are celebrating. Most weddings take place on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays , and events regularly extend into the evening. The General Manager is expected to be at weddings and events to ensure our clients receive an exceptional experience. Flexibility in your work schedule, including nights and weekends, is essential. Our Hiring Process Finalists will participate in interviews, reference checks, and a professional behavioral assessment designed to help ensure a strong long-term fit for both the candidate and our team.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
