Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our high volume boutique seafood restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in food service management, ensuring that our team delivers exceptional customer service while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, optimizing operational efficiency, and driving business growth. Responsibilities Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, training, and performance management. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining cleanliness and organization within the restaurant. Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales growth. Oversee inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to maximize profitability. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure food quality meets established standards. Manage scheduling for staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner. Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate expectations, provide training, and foster a positive work environment. Qualifications Previous experience in a leadership role within the food industry, preferably as an Assistant Manager or General Manager Strong understanding of food service management principles Experience in bartending, wine and spirits knowledge, sushi or kitchen experience is a plus but not required. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. $50,445.00 - $65,500.00 per year
