Job Description

A busy, family-focused entertainment venue in Palm Beach County is seeking a motivated, reliable, and hands-on Food & Beverage Manager to oversee the full operation of its quick-service kitchen and concession area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with restaurant or food service leadership experience who is ready to take ownership of an important department within a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. The Food & Beverage Manager will be responsible for day-to-day operations, staff leadership, scheduling, inventory, purchasing, food safety, service standards, and department growth. This role also works closely with other managers to support private events, group bookings, special programs, and high-traffic days throughout the year. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable running the department with a strong sense of ownership while also working collaboratively as part of a larger management team. Responsibilities Manage the full day-to-day operation of the food and beverage department Lead, train, schedule, and supervise kitchen and concession staff Oversee food preparation, presentation, quality, and consistency Maintain food safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace safety standards Manage purchasing, inventory, stock levels, and FIFO procedures Monitor product usage, waste, food costs, and department efficiency Develop and improve menu items, specials, and seasonal offerings Identify opportunities to increase food and beverage sales Coordinate food service needs for private events, group bookings, parties, and special programming Work closely with senior management and other department leaders Ensure orders are completed accurately and efficiently during busy periods Maintain a friendly, professional, and welcoming guest experience Build and maintain a positive, team-focused work environment Communicate clearly with management, staff, vendors, and other departments Identify opportunities to improve service, efficiency, sales, and guest satisfaction Assist with department planning, staffing needs, procedures, and future growth What We Are Looking For Previous restaurant, quick-service restaurant, concession, hospitality, or food service management experience Strong leadership and communication skills A hands-on manager who is willing to jump in wherever needed Someone who can take ownership of an entire department while working well within a larger management team Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to remain calm and make decisions in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of food safety procedures and proper kitchen operations Experience managing staffing, scheduling, inventory, purchasing, and food costs A creative mindset and willingness to bring new ideas to the menu and guest experience Dependable, professional, proactive, and solution-focused Preferred Experience 3+ years of leadership or management experience 5+ years of restaurant, quick-service restaurant, concession, hospitality, or food service experience Experience managing employees, schedules, inventory, purchasing, and food costs Experience in a high-volume, family entertainment, hospitality, or event-based environment is a plus Requirements Valid driver's license Food Manager Certification required or ability to obtain within an established timeframe ServSafe Certification preferred Must successfully complete and maintain eligibility through a Florida Level 2 background screening as a condition of employment Must be able to work on-site in Palm Beach County, Florida Must have availability for a combination of weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs Benefits Flexible scheduling Paid time off Paid training Fast-paced, team-oriented work environment Opportunity to lead and grow an important department Opportunity to contribute ideas and make a meaningful impact on operations and sales About the Company We are an established, family-focused entertainment business serving guests throughout Palm Beach County. Pay:
$23.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
