Expected Schedule:
50-55 hours per week TIN TIN is seeking an experienced, hospitality-driven General Manager to lead the daily operations of our restaurant in the heart of Little Havana. TIN TIN is an independent, chef-driven neighborhood restaurant rooted in Cuban culture while drawing inspiration from European and Latin influences. We are focused on thoughtful food and beverage, warm hospitality, and creating a restaurant that feels equally welcoming to our neighborhood regulars and guests discovering us for the first time. We are looking for a General Manager who can combine genuine hospitality with strong business and operational leadership. The Role The General Manager will oversee the overall operation of the restaurant and work closely with ownership and the Executive Chef to maintain high standards of hospitality, profitability, organization, and team culture. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys being present on the floor, developing people, solving problems, and taking ownership of the business. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee daily front-of-house restaurant operations Recruit, train, develop, schedule, and manage the FOH team Establish and maintain exceptional hospitality and service standards Create a positive, professional, and accountable workplace culture Manage labor costs and scheduling according to business levels Monitor sales, expenses, and operating performance Work with ownership and culinary leadership to review P&L performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability Maintain appropriate beverage, wine, and operating inventories Oversee purchasing, receiving, and cost controls within the FOH operation Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and employment requirements Handle guest feedback and service recovery professionally Lead pre-shift meetings and maintain consistent communication with the team Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Owners to ensure strong communication between FOH and BOH Help develop restaurant events, promotions, private dining, and opportunities to grow sales Maintain the physical appearance, organization, and overall readiness of the restaurant Build relationships with regular guests and the surrounding community What We're Looking For The ideal candidate has: Minimum of 3 years of restaurant management experience required , preferably as a General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or senior restaurant manager Experience in a full-service, chef-driven restaurant environment Strong understanding of restaurant financials, including labor, COGS, budgeting, and P&L management Excellent leadership and communication skills Strong knowledge of hospitality and service standards Experience hiring, training, coaching, and developing restaurant teams Wine, spirits, and beverage knowledge Strong organizational and administrative skills Ability to remain composed and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment A hands-on management style and willingness to lead by example Genuine enthusiasm for hospitality, food, wine, and the Miami restaurant community Spanish proficiency is a plus. Compensation & Benefits Annual salary of $75,000
