Job Description

Sir Clean is expanding. We are looking for an experienced manager who can lead our team, increase sales, develop new accounts and grow company profitability. Established in 2015, Sir Clean provides janitorial, commercial and industrial cleaning, carpet and upholstery cleaning, post-construction cleaning, mold assessment and remediation, water and fire damage restoration, biohazard cleanup and odor removal. You will work directly with the owner, who handles company strategy, financial control and core office administration. You will lead local operations, crew management, customer visits, estimating, sales and business development. Miami Beach will be your initial operating base. As Sir Clean expands into additional cities and states, successful performance can create opportunities to lead additional locations and take on broader management responsibilities. Experienced cleaning and restoration project managers with strong leadership, estimating and sales experience are encouraged to apply. Sales, Bids and Business Development Generate new business, follow up leads, prepare proposals and close profitable jobs. Develop relationships with property managers, condominium associations, hotels, restaurants, schools, industrial facilities and other commercial customers. Conduct walkthroughs, prepare scopes of work and estimates, and explain service recommendations to customers. Pursue bidding opportunities , attend pre-bid meetings and site walkthroughs, prepare competitive proposals and coordinate timely submissions with the owner. Negotiate within approved pricing, contract and profitability guidelines. Represent Sir Clean at networking events, Chamber meetings and industry activities. Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, customer contacts, estimates and follow-ups in company systems. Help evaluate expansion into other cities and states by reviewing customer demand, competition, staffing, local licensing requirements, equipment needs and startup costs. Support the launch of additional locations and development of local teams as expansion is approved by the owner. Operations and Team Leadership Manage crews, subcontractors, equipment and daily field operations in coordination with the owner's master schedule. Plan staffing, assign qualified workers and arrange coverage for absences. Control labor and material costs, monitor job profitability and maintain consistent service quality. Recruit, screen, interview and evaluate candidates , recommend hiring decisions and coordinate onboarding with the owner. Train workers in practical service techniques , equipment operation, chemical handling, safety and company procedures. Inspect completed work, coach employees and address performance problems. Develop dependable shift leads and backup leadership. Resolve ordinary customer concerns and communicate significant issues promptly. Oversee drying, containment, safety and documentation within applicable licensing requirements. Coordinate independent mold assessments and post-remediation verification where applicable. Maintain accurate job photographs, service records, scope changes and completion documentation. Provide clear operational, staffing and sales updates to the owner. Fieldwork and Worker Coverage This is an active management position with occasional fieldwork . Assist crews, demonstrate correct procedures and personally cover worker absences or urgent staffing gaps when needed. Organize reliable backup coverage to keep service delivery, customer visits and business development on schedule. Equipment Operation and Maintenance Understand the operation of carpet extractors, upholstery equipment, floor scrubbers, pressure washers, HEPA vacuums, air scrubbers, dehumidifiers and other cleaning and restoration equipment. Learn unfamiliar machines quickly, identify faults and perform safe basic repairs on site within your competence and manufacturer instructions. Evaluate maintenance needs, keep service records, schedule preventive maintenance and identify when specialist repair or replacement is required. Maintain equipment inventory, vehicle readiness and secure custody of company property. Recommend equipment purchases based on service needs, reliability and cost. Required Cleaning Experience Demonstrated practical experience performing, estimating and managing the following services: Janitorial and commercial cleaning: Recurring facility cleaning, restaurant cleaning and commercial kitchen cleaning.
Specialty cleaning:
Carpet and upholstery cleaning, post-construction cleaning and detailed cleaning. Floor, window and exterior cleaning: Machine floor scrubbing, window cleaning and pressure washing.
Industrial facility cleaning:
Industrial and warehouse cleaning, high dusting and large facility projects. Candidates must know how to select appropriate methods and equipment, estimate labor and materials, train and supervise crews, inspect results and deliver profitable work. Required Qualifications Active Florida Mold Remediator license, MRSR , in good standing. Active Florida Mold Assessor license, MRSA , in good standing. Current IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician certification, WRT . Completion of OSHA 10-hour General Industry training , or OSHA 30-hour General Industry training. At least five years of relevant experience , including two years managing crews and job costs . Demonstrated success selling services, preparing estimates and developing customer relationships. Practical mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting and maintaining cleaning and restoration equipment. Professional working proficiency in English and Spanish . Valid driver's license, clean driving record and ability to meet company vehicle-insurance requirements. Ability to travel throughout Miami-Dade and Broward. Confidence using customer-management software, mobile job documentation and spreadsheets. Ability to perform essential field duties safely, with reasonable accommodation where applicable. Preferred Qualifications Xactimate estimating experience. Level 2 certification is a plus. IICRC AMRT and ASD certifications . Completion of OSHA 30-hour General Industry training . Additional training in fire and smoke restoration, odor control or biohazard cleanup. Experience preparing bids and managing commercial service contracts. Experience with insurance-related restoration estimates and documentation. Established professional relationships in South Florida. Experience opening new locations, evaluating new markets or managing operations across multiple locations. Salary and Performance Bonus Base salary: $65,000 to $95,000 annually , depending on experience and qualifications.
Annual performance bonus:
20% of additional qualifying operating profit above an agreed baseline for the operations you manage. Growth can come from new customers, expanded existing accounts and improved operating efficiency . No fixed bonus cap. Additional incentives for candidates with an established customer portfolio or book of business: Candidates who bring existing customer accounts or contracts to Sir Clean may qualify for extra commissions, bonuses or an individually negotiated compensation package , in addition to the base salary and annual performance bonus. These incentives will reflect the business successfully brought to Sir Clean, collected revenue and profitability. Examples of annual performance bonus payments: $50,000 additional qualifying profit above baseline: $10,000 bonus . $100,000 additional qualifying profit above baseline: $20,000 bonus . $150,000 additional qualifying profit above baseline: $30,000 bonus . $200,000 additional qualifying profit above baseline: $40,000 bonus . These examples illustrate potential payments and do not guarantee earnings. The baseline, incentive terms, accounting rules, customer-retention and service-quality requirements, payment timing and first-year prorating will be agreed in writing before employment begins. Schedule and Growth Opportunities Regular fieldwork and travel throughout Miami-Dade and rarely Broward. Weekday operations and customer visits, with assigned evening, weekend and emergency coverage. Attendance at selected networking events, industry meetings and bid walkthroughs. Occasional travel to support approved expansion into other cities and states. Paid onboarding covering Sir Clean's procedures, equipment and systems. Opportunity to earn broader responsibility as company performance and expansion support additional locations.
