Front of House Restaurant Manager | Lamp & Shade Craft Kitchen & Cocktails | Orlando, FL Lamp & Shade is seeking an experienced, energetic Front of House Manager to help lead one of Orlando's most dynamic hospitality concepts. Lamp & Shade is far more than a traditional restaurant. Our business spans elevated brunch and dinner service, high-volume nightlife, private events, watch parties, social programming and special activations. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded hospitality leader who can move confidently between polished restaurant service and a fast-paced, late-night environment—while maintaining strong standards, an engaged team and an exceptional guest experience. Key Responsibilities Lead daily front-of-house operations across brunch, dinner, nightlife, events and special programming Maintain high standards of hospitality, service execution, cleanliness and organization Coach, develop and hold FOH team members accountable to company expectations Conduct effective pre-shifts and communicate reservations, events, menu updates, service goals and daily priorities Manage the flow of service, including reservations, seating, table touches, guest recovery and staff deployment Support high-volume nightlife operations, including bar execution, security coordination, crowd management and closing procedures Oversee the execution of private events, watch parties, DJ nights and venue activations Partner closely with culinary, beverage, events and marketing leadership Monitor labor, scheduling, timekeeping and overall operational efficiency Ensure compliance with food safety, alcohol service, cash-handling and company policies Assist with hiring, onboarding, training and performance management Protect the Lamp & Shade brand by creating a consistent experience across every daypart and type of service What We're Looking For Previous restaurant management experience in a full-service, high-volume environment Experience with nightlife, bars, events or entertainment-driven concepts strongly preferred Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences Confidence handling difficult conversations, guest concerns and high-pressure situations Strong understanding of restaurant financials, labor management and operational controls Ability to adapt quickly as the venue transitions between brunch, dinner, events and nightlife Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays and late-night shifts as business requires The Right Fit You understand that great hospitality looks different throughout the day.
