Assistant Manager responsibilities include managing cash, resolving conflicts and checking equipment. Ultimately, you will ensure all aspects of your shift run smoothly and effectively. If you're a leader committed to quality service and have experience in our industry, we'd like to meet you.
ResponsibilitiesProvide direction and feedback to workers during shiftsSchedule employee shifts and assign dutiesManage time-off requests and handle last-minute absencesTrain and coach new employeesInspect equipment and communicate the need for repairs or replacements to managementCheck cash drawers and prepare bank depositsEnsure health and safety standards are followedAddress customer and employee complaintsResolve conflicts between workersFoster and maintain a positive work environmentSkillsProven experience as a Shift Leader or relevant managerial roleKnowledge of the industry and relevant health and safety regulationsCommitment to excellent serviceWorking well within a teamLeadership skills and ability to make decisions fastStrong problem-solving aptitudeAbility to stand for long periodsHigh school diploma is preferred
