Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Kitchen Manager to join our culinary team in a dynamic fine dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of culinary techniques, food safety, and kitchen operations. As a Kitchen Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Executive Chef in managing kitchen staff, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining exceptional standards of service. Responsibilities Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure efficient operations. Oversee daily kitchen activities including food preparation, cooking, and plating. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Maintain inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during meal periods. Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements as necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. Experience Proven experience in a fine dining restaurant or similar culinary environment. Strong background in restaurant management and supervising kitchen staff. Demonstrated leadership abilities with effective communication skills. Knowledge of culinary techniques, food handling practices, and food safety standards. Experience with shift management to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Bartending experience is a plus but not required.
