Full Job Description Description:
We are seeking an experienced, service-driven Food & Beverage Manager to oversee all dining and beverage operations at our private country club. This leadership role is responsible for delivering exceptional member experiences while managing daily operations, staff development, financial performance, and compliance with health and safety standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality, strong organizational skills, and experience in upscale dining or private club environments. Essential Duties Oversee the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including dining rooms, bars, banquet facilities, and special events. Ensure exceptional service standards that exceed member and guest expectations. Recruit, train, mentor, schedule, and evaluate front-of-house staff. Manage inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships to maintain quality while controlling costs Monitor labor and food costs, prepare budgets, and achieve financial performance goals. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations. Address member feedback promptly and professionally, fostering strong member relationships. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment consistent with the club's standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive food and beverage management experience, preferably in a private club, country club, luxury hotel, or fine dining environment. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and improve operational efficiency. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations. Experience with point-of-sale systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office. Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as required.
