Job Description
Quick Service Restaurant Manager Macon, GA | Full-Time | Up to $52,000 Annually We are looking for a hands-on manager to run our bakery. This is a full-time position for someone with food-service and supervisory experience who is ready to take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of a busy quick service bakery. You will be responsible for the entire store—not just one area. You will lead the team, manage the schedule, control food and labor costs, maintain food quality and cleanliness, handle customers, and make sure the restaurant is operating properly every day. This position averages approximately 45 hours per week. The schedule is not fixed, and weekend and holiday availability is required. What You'll Do Run the day-to-day operation of the store Hire, interview, train, and supervise employees Create and manage employee schedules Work alongside the crew and lead by example Make sure the store is properly staffed Hold employees accountable for attendance, performance, and following procedures Manage labor hours and control labor costs Order food and supplies and manage inventory Control food costs and minimize waste Maintain food quality and consistency Ensure food safety and health requirements are followed Handle customer service issues and complaints Open and close the store Handle cash and deposits Maintain cleanliness and sanitation Monitor equipment and address maintenance needs Complete daily paperwork and reports Work toward sales and operational goals Coach employees and take disciplinary action when necessary Solve problems and make decisions without needing constant supervision What We're Looking For Food-service experience Supervisory experience High school diploma or GED Must be 18 or older Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Ability to work approximately 45 hours per week Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays Someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment Someone who can lead a team and hold people accountable Physical Requirements This is an active position.
You must be able to:
Stand for extended periods Regularly lift up to 50 lbs. Perform frequent hand and wrist movements Work alongside the team in the restaurant Compensation & Benefits Hourly position Total compensation up to $52,000 annually Paid time off after 6 months of employment Important to Know This is a hands-on store management position . The manager is expected to be involved in the daily operation of the restaurant and work alongside the team—not simply manage from an office.
