• Join our dynamic team as a Pet Groomer, where your passion for animals and talent for pet styling come together to create a positive and caring environment. In this role, you will provide professional grooming services that enhance the health, hygiene, and appearance of our furry clients. Your expertise will ensure each pet feels comfortable and confident during their grooming experience while fostering strong communication with pet owners. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their families every day. Pay is 50% commission plus 100% of tips. 1 week PTO at a rate of $20/hour is offered after 1 year of continuous employment with Blossom's. We also offer paid sharpening of grooming equipment through Sharpies Sharpening as well as 401k options. Responsibilities Perform pet grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling coats to meet breed standards or owner preferences Handle animals safely and compassionately using animal restraint techniques and proper handling skills Conduct pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other hygienic procedures with precision and care Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming preferences and provide after-care advice Maintain a clean, organized grooming station adhering to health and safety standards Assist with dog training or basic obedience exercises as needed to ensure calm grooming sessions Support veterinary staff by providing animal handling assistance during appointments or procedures when required Qualifications Proven experience in pet grooming, including pet coat styling and pet nail trimming Knowledge of animal handling, restraint techniques, and safe grooming practices Experience with veterinary care or as a veterinary technician/assistant is a plus Familiarity with dog training, veterinary experience, or equine handling is advantageous Strong communication skills for engaging with pet owners and team members Ability to lift heavy objects such as large dogs or equipment safely and comfortably Passion for animal care with a genuine love for working with pets of all sizes and temperaments Join us in creating happy, healthy pets by delivering top-quality grooming services in a lively, supportive environment. Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
