Duties Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow and high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction Supervise staff performance, including training, coaching, scheduling, and conducting interviews to build a motivated and efficient team Manage food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and proper handling procedures Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation Ensure compliance with health regulations, food safety protocols, and sanitation standards across all areas of the restaurant Support shift management by coordinating staff schedules, overseeing service times, and resolving operational issues promptly Assist with budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and cost control initiatives to maximize restaurant performance Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service while maintaining a positive team environment Requirements Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques Demonstrated management skills with previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in hospitality or food service management Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise required Experience with inventory control, food safety management, and kitchen management practices Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills for team management and staff training Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for order accuracy, cash reconciliation, and financial analysis Knowledge of restaurant operations including shift management, catering or banquet experience is a plus Hospitality industry experience with a focus on customer service excellence; culinary or hotel experience is advantageous Commitment to food safety standards and team development through training & development initiatives Join us as an Assistant Manager - Restaurant where your leadership fuels our success!
