Responsibilities Lead and supervise night shift warehouse operations, ensuring smooth flow of distribution activities and adherence to safety protocols. Coordinate shipping and receiving processes, including inventory control, materials handling, and order fulfillment using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems like AS400. Utilize forklift and other material handling equipment safely for heavy lifting, loading, unloading, and stock organization. Implement process improvements to optimize warehouse efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity through lean management principles. Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation using RF scanners and inventory management tools. Communicate effectively with team members in Spanish and English, providing clear instructions and managerial guidance to foster teamwork and accountability. Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and other safety regulations while maintaining a safe working environment for all staff. Skills Extensive experience in warehouse distribution, logistics, or distribution center operations. Proven leadership skills with previous warehouse supervisor or team management experience. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems (IMS), and OS400 platform. Mechanical knowledge related to materials handling equipment operation such as forklifts and other heavy machinery. Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English to facilitate team leadership and stakeholder engagement. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate mechanical equipment proficiently. Familiarity with 3PL (third-party logistics) providers, e-commerce fulfillment processes, shipping & receiving procedures, and lean management practices.
