Up to $25/hour (based on experience) About Us We are a busy family of three looking for a dependable, organized Household Assistant to help keep our home running smoothly. We both work from home and are looking for someone who enjoys cooking, staying organized, and taking pride in maintaining a welcoming home. This is a long-term, part-time position with consistent hours in a respectful and appreciative household. What You'll Do Your primary responsibility will be preparing healthy meals for our family while also helping maintain an organized home.
Responsibilities include:
Prepare healthy dinners from our weekly meal plan. Prepare lunches or leftovers for the following day. Wash, dry, fold, and put away family laundry. Load and unload the dishwasher. General tidying and resetting of the home during each visit. Organize pantry, refrigerator, cabinets, and household items as needed. Rotate one cleaning area each shift (kitchen, bathrooms, or common living areas). Change bed linens every week. Keep the kitchen clean and organized while cooking. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate: Loves cooking and preparing healthy meals. Is organized and enjoys creating order. Can multitask efficiently (for example, starting a load of laundry while preparing meals and completing light cleaning). Notices what needs to be done without constant direction. Is dependable, trustworthy, and punctual. Is looking for a long-term position. Schedule Expectations Each visit should generally include: Meal preparation for dinner and the following day's lunch. Laundry completed and put away. Dishwasher loaded or unloaded. General household reset. One designated cleaning area completed. Bonus Qualifications Previous household assistant or housekeeping experience. Meal planning or cooking experience. Comfortable following recipes and accommodating dietary preferences.
