Job Description

MUST WORK ON-SITE/NON-REMOTE POSITION. HOURS ARE ONLY FROM 11 AM - 10 PM.
We are seeking a Restaurant/Bar General Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for providing customers with a memorable dining experience.
Position Reports to:
CEO.
Responsibilities:
Assists CEO in ensuring and leading all employees to provide outstanding service. Interview, hire, train, coach and develop personnel. Understands, enforces and adheres to all company policies and procedures. Set and meet restaurant goals for service, operations and financial results. Responsible for administrative and operational paperwork, including new hire paperwork, sales reports, payroll documents, attendance records, labor reports, and more. Resolve conflict, and manage terminations. Follow progressive disciplinary steps such as counseling and write-ups when needed. Keep the CEO and VP - Director of Human Resources aware of employee and customer incidents. Make deposits, and ensure safe security. Controls costs within the restaurant and maintains adherence to policy and procedure. Plans, organizes, prioritizes, coordinates and implements daily work schedules. Monitor stock levels, complete inventory checks on all operating equipment and supplies. Ability to perform and train in each position. Oversee guest services and resolve issues. Ability to operate all restaurant equipment. Implement restaurant controls, especially cash and inventory. Maintain appropriate staffing. Maintain a clean facility at all times. Ensures that federal, state and local laws, regulations and ordinances are practiced and enforced. Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations. Other tasks or duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of previous management experience in food service or other related fields. Strong leadership qualities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Experience with using Microsoft Word, Excel, etc., a plus.
Education:
High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent. College studies in business related subjects preferred.
