Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our hospitality team with passion and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, operational excellence, and team leadership. Your enthusiasm for food, management expertise, and dedication to hospitality will drive the success of our establishment. You will be responsible for managing staff, controlling costs, maintaining food safety standards, and creating a welcoming environment that keeps guests coming back. Duties Lead and supervise all restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and kitchen management to ensure smooth daily functioning. Oversee staff training and development, including interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing coaching to build a cohesive team. Manage inventory control, food safety compliance, and food handling procedures to uphold quality standards. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Monitor shift management activities, including scheduling staff, supervising performance, and ensuring efficient workflow during busy hours. Conduct profit and loss analysis to optimize revenue streams and control expenses effectively. Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing guest concerns promptly and ensuring a positive dining experience. Implement food safety protocols and ensure compliance with all health regulations. Coordinate catering events or banquet services when applicable to expand business opportunities. Foster a culture of teamwork, leadership, and continuous improvement through staff training & development initiatives. Experience Proven management experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments with a strong background in restaurant management. Extensive hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations. Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales transactions and inventory tracking. Prior supervisory experience in hospitality management or food service management roles is essential. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and health regulations. Experience managing budgets, performing profit & loss analysis, and implementing cost control measures. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster a positive team environment. Familiarity with catering or banquet operations is a plus; experience in fine dining or casual dining settings preferred. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining high customer service standards. Basic math skills for inventory control, budgeting, and financial reporting are required.
