Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Catering Manager to lead our catering operations with enthusiasm and precision. In this vital role, you will oversee all aspects of catering services, ensuring exceptional food quality, outstanding customer experiences, and efficient team management. Your leadership will drive the success of our catering events, from small gatherings to large banquets, fostering a vibrant and professional hospitality environment. Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee all catering events, ensuring timely preparation, presentation, and service that meet high standards of quality and customer satisfaction Manage daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and food safety compliance in accordance with health regulations Supervise and train catering staff, including conducting interviews, onboarding new team members, and providing ongoing staff development Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation Maintain excellent customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally during events Analyze profit and loss reports to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency improvements within the catering division Skills Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within casual dining or fine dining environments Proven management skills with a background in hospitality management, kitchen management, or restaurant management Strong supervisory experience with team leadership capabilities and staff training expertise Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales processing and inventory tracking Excellent communication skills for managerial tasks such as interviewing, training & development, and managing hospitality teams Deep understanding of food safety standards and food production processes in the catering industry Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while managing shift responsibilities efficiently Experience in banquet catering or large event coordination is highly desirable Basic math skills for budgeting, cost control, and profit analysis Knowledge of food industry trends such as quick service & fast food restaurant operations or casual dining concepts Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer service excellence Join us as a Catering Manager to lead vibrant teams delivering memorable culinary experiences.
