Supervisory Responsibilities:
Hires and trains restaurant staff. Serves as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors. Organizes and oversees the staff schedules. Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. Responsible for staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objective are met. Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members. Responsible for the entire operation of the store, including but not limited to: Staffing Inventory Customer Service Labor Cost of Goods Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.Duties/Responsibilities:
Oversees and participates in food preparation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards. Directly involved with all aspects of food preparation including making sandwiches, cutting meat, slicing vegetables and preparing catering orders. Ensures customer satisfaction with all aspects of the cafe and dining experience. Handles customer complaints, resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner. Stays readily available/approachable for all team members. Demonstrates knowledge of the brand specific service culture. Estimates food and beverage costs. Manages inventory and purchases food and supplies. Conducts daily inspection of restaurant and equipment to ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards. Periodically evaluates restaurant equipment for repairs and maintenance, schedules for service. Maintains sales records and tracks cash receipts. Prepares and submits operations reports and other documentation requested by the Regional Manager. Drive company vehicle to deliver food. Performs other duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong hands on supervisory and leadership skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service. Excellent time management skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, P.O.S. systems.Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 5 years restaurant general management experience required. Successful completion of corporate training program required. Serve safe certified. Valid and clean driving record.Physical Requirements:
Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly. Prolonged periods walking and standing. Must be able to lift 60 pounds at times. Operate a torch as to glaze.
