Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to join our vibrant restaurant team. Manage food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Control inventory levels through effective stock management, ordering supplies as needed to minimize waste and maximize profitability. Monitor food production and kitchen activities to ensure consistency in quality, presentation, and timely service. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to guarantee a positive dining experience for all guests. Conduct staffing interviews, assist with hiring decisions, and support team management initiatives including shift scheduling. Analyze profit and loss reports to identify opportunities for cost control and revenue growth. Uphold food safety regulations through regular training on food safety management systems and hygiene standards. Qualifications Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations. Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervising or assistant manager experience in hospitality or restaurant settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise essential. Extensive knowledge of food safety practices, inventory control, and food management procedures. Experience in managing hospitality teams with skills in staff training, team leadership, and performance evaluation. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure. Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence; experience in casual dining or fine dining environments preferred.
