Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee our establishment, ensuring exceptional service and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management, particularly in fine dining or hotel settings. This role requires a leader who can manage shifts effectively, maintain food safety standards, and foster a positive work environment for all staff. Duties Oversee daily operations of the restaurant or hotel, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction. Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to ensure efficient shift management. Implement and uphold food safety protocols to guarantee compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain quality control of food preparation and presentation. Utilize Revel POS system for managing orders, inventory, and financial reporting. Develop and execute strategies to enhance customer experience and drive business growth. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to ensure a positive dining experience. Monitor financial performance and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities. Experience Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality roles, preferably in fine dining or hotel environments. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or similar supervisory role is highly desirable. Familiarity with kitchen operations and the ability to communicate effectively with culinary staff. Proficiency in using Revel POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
