Holbrook Life Management - Woods is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead fine dining operations in our senior living community. This on-site leader oversees all back-of-house functions, including menu planning, food preparation, and quality control, while ensuring resident-first, hospitality-driven service. Responsibilities include supervising and training kitchen staff, managing inventory and vendors, and maintaining strict health and safety standards. The Kitchen Manager collaborates with care and dining teams to support special diets and events, delivering an exceptional culinary experience that enhances resident wellness and engagement. Responsibilities Oversee daily kitchen operations for a fine dining senior living community Plan, cost, and execute seasonal and resident-focused menus Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations Supervise, schedule, and train kitchen and dietary staff Coordinate with dining and care teams to meet resident dietary needs Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships Maintain food quality, presentation, and portion standards Control food and labor costs within budget targets Support special events and catering within the community Monitor resident feedback and continuously improve dining experience Required Skills Menu planning and costing Culinary techniques and food preparation Food safety and sanitation (HACCP, Serv Safe) Staff scheduling and supervision Inventory and vendor management Budgeting and cost control Allergen and special diet management Quality control and plating standards Kitchen equipment operation and maintenance Microsoft Office or POS/kitchen management systems
