仕事内容: This position is with Café Il Mondo, an Italian restaurant located in the town of Honokaa on Hawaiʻi Island. Since opening its doors in Honokaa, Café Il Mondo has continued to serve the community with freshly prepared Italian food, with a special focus on pizzas made with house-made dough and baked in our in-house oven. Known for its memorable interior and exterior, Café Il Mondo welcomes both loyal local customers and visitors from outside the community with a warm, hospitality-minded approach. We are seeking team members who take pride in quality work, enjoy serving others, and share our commitment to providing delicious food and a welcoming dining experience. As Restaurant Manager, who supervises the Server and Restaurant Cook, including at the Café Il Mondo restaurant, your responsibility includes:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, finances, and customer service.
• Ensure there is sufficient inventory, supplies, and ingredients.
• Ensure compliance with local and national health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Manage costs and propose changes to menu prices based on sales data, develop and manage budgets for labor, food, and supplies
• Communicate with customers and restaurant owner to handle and resolve customer complaints.
• Ensure compliance with county liquor licensing requirements
• Communicate with Restaurant Owner to report on issues that requires the owner's attention.
• Assist the Restaurant Owner in marketing and public relations for the restaurant.
• Plan and coordinate events with the Restaurant Owner to promote the restaurant.
• Assist the Server with front of house duties upon request.
• Assist the Restaurant Cook with the back of house duties upon request.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in restaurant, hospitality, food service, or a related business, with a strong background in operations, team management, and customer service.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Education or practical experience in hospitality, culinary arts, business, marketing, or a related field
• Experience in restaurant, food service, kitchen, or hospitality operations
• Experience supervising staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management
• Experience in customer service, sales, promotions, or business development
• Ability to coordinate staffing, inventory, purchasing, and food preparation based on customer demand
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff, vendors, and ownership
• Familiarity with food safety, sanitation, health regulations, and applicable labor or licensing requirements その他:
