Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our vibrant dining establishment. Duties Lead and supervise all restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management to ensure smooth daily functioning. Oversee inventory control processes, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction to maximize profitability. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to ensure accurate order processing and cash handling procedures. Train, develop, and motivate staff members across all departments, including front-of-house and kitchen teams, to uphold service standards. Implement food safety protocols in compliance with local health regulations and conduct regular staff training on food handling and sanitation practices. Monitor financial performance through profit and loss analysis, budgeting, and cost control measures to meet business goals. Coordinate shift management, ensuring adequate staffing levels during peak hours while maintaining excellent customer service. Foster a welcoming atmosphere by engaging with guests directly to gather feedback and resolve any issues promptly. Lead efforts in team training & development initiatives to enhance skills related to culinary techniques, customer service, and operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with all hospitality regulations and uphold the restaurant's reputation for quality dining experiences. Experience Proven management experience within the food industry, particularly in quick service & fast food or casual dining environments. Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management with fine dining or catering experience preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential. Strong supervisory skills with previous team management or staff training responsibilities; experience in interviewing and onboarding new team members is advantageous. Knowledge of inventory control methods, food safety standards (including HACCP), and food production processes. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for budgeting, pricing, and P&L analysis. Excellent managerial communication skills combined with leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and high performance. Familiarity with hospitality management software tools and experience managing hospitality teams in diverse settings such as casual dining or banquet environments is highly desirable.
