Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising staff, managing food safety standards, and ensuring efficient restaurant operations during assigned shifts. Previous experience in hospitality management, culinary arts, or food industry leadership is highly valued. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant activities to ensure smooth operation during assigned shifts Lead and motivate team members, including staff training and development to uphold service standards Oversee food preparation, handling, and presentation to meet quality and safety standards Handle cash transactions accurately and perform cash handling duties Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards in kitchen and dining areas Monitor customer service quality, address guest concerns promptly, and enhance overall guest experience Collaborate with kitchen management on food production, catering orders, and banquet services when necessary Implement operational procedures related to food management, safety protocols, and hospitality standards Skills Proven management experience within the food service industry, including supervising teams in quick service & fast food or fine dining settings Excellent leadership skills with a background in staff training, team management, and development Experience with food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices Ability to manage shift operations efficiently while maintaining high-quality customer service standards Familiarity with restaurant management software and budgeting principles Exceptional communication skills for interviewing staff, training team members, and resolving customer issues Knowledge of hospitality management principles including kitchen management, food safety regulations, and culinary best practices Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail This position offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team in a vibrant hospitality setting.
