JOB SUMMARY
In the role of Lead, Production, you will assist the Chef in overseeing the Production Department. You will have the opportunity to work hands-on with employees to develop their passion for producing great food and ensure the kitchen is operating smoothly. These duties include regular cooking activities and maintaining a safe and sanitary environment.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education [formal]: High school diploma or equivalent certificate desired.
Experience:
3 years' experience in food service required. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
Special Skills and Competencies:
Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to perform detailed assignments, follow directions, work under pressure, and readily adapt to change in routine and work assignments. Ability to evaluate a problem or situation and take action after analyzing the options. Proven leadership skills. Positive, optimistic and supportive personality to lead others. Basic computer skills preferred (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
