Job Description
We are seeking a motivated leader with a spark for exceptional customer service for our Restaurant General Manager position. Our restaurant is known for serving succulent high-end steaks and rich seafood in a casual-upscale environment. The General Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the bar & restaurant while cultivating a culture of positivity by providing "unmatched hospitality" to our employees, guests, and vendors. Responsible for coaching & developing all front of house and back of house employees by providing direction, feedback and hands-on training to ensure a well-organized operation. The ideal candidate for this Restaurant General Manager position is one who demonstrates initiative and accountability to achieve success within the restaurant and strives to ensure longevity with the team members. This team is looking for someone who can cultivate a culture of mutual respect. Essential functions include, but are not limited to:
- Able and willing to work in position and cover shifts within the restaurant when needed, included but not limited to host, bartender, and server.
- 1 + year of sales experience is preferred
- Must have or be able to obtain a food safe handlers license and bartender license
- Demonstrate professional communication skills.
- Evaluate food products to ensure that quality standards are consistently attained.
- Evaluate products to ensure that quality, price, and related goods are consistently met.
- Speak to guests and ensure quality service is being met in all areas of their experience.
- Approves the requisition of products and other necessary kitchen and bar supplies
- Handle and resolve all guest and employee complaints.
- Inventory and order all supplies for use by staff to complete their jobs.
- Responsible for the selection, scheduling, supervision, discipline, and discharge of employees.
- Process and understand daily job duties with the understanding of balancing sales sheet, POS, and EOM (end of month) paperwork.
- Review and understand P & L.
- Maintain a regular cleaning and maintenance schedule for all front-of-house and back-of-house equipment
Pay:
