Job Description

(Competitive Base Salary with Performance Based Incentive Bonus Program) We are looking for experienced candidates to work mainly in Northwest Iowa. This position works closely with restaurant franchises, performs restaurant evaluations, and provides operational support. We offer a team-work environment, benefits, and a work-life balance not often found in the restaurant industry as well as opportunities for growth. We are seeking candidates who possess multi-unit problem solving skills. The Restaurant Operations Manager is instrumental in leading the overall operations of multiple locations within a region. Their focus will be on driving strong operational practices while helping develop a team of people dedicated to delivering great guest experiences and profitable top line sales. The Operations Manager must have the ability to work well under pressure, exhibit a high level of skills in decision making, planning and organizing. They are responsible for driving enthusiasm in the teams and ensuring each location's overall operation of the established standards.
Responsibilities Include:
Review restaurants by physically visiting the restaurant and conducting reviews of established areas of compliance. Conduct evaluations with an eye to the overall customer perception. Provide detailed recommendations for any points that are out of compliance or need improvement, referring to available training materials and handbooks. Focus should be on putting systems in place to help improve operations. Provide instore support working side by side with teams as needed. Convey the "big picture" to restaurants and encourage them to perform their own operational audits. Assist with enhancing the guest experience. Assist restaurants to understand and implement corporate sales goals, objectives, and operational changes. Learn and understand all national and local advertising promotions that are planned. Support local store marketing. Provide training and support for new policies, procedures, programs, menu items, equipment and management or employee issues. Advise restaurants on other operational matters such as customer service, customer relations, employee issues, safety, controls and profitability. Develop and maintain positive relationships with all restaurants, other field representatives and coworkers, suppliers and business partners. Work with all corporate partners to achieve higher levels in all controllable expenses. Attend meetings, training sessions, and conferences as required. Communicate proactively and keep company communications at a high level.

Requirements:
Three or more years experience in full service or quick serve restaurants Branded, multi-unit franchise experience would be a benefit Self-motivated and demonstrate ability to work without direct supervision Strong written and verbal communication skills Computer skills Strong relationship management, conflict resolution, and problem solving skills Professional appearance and manner
