Schedule:

Approximately 35-45 hours per week Waterfront Seafood Market has been a locally owned and family-operated business since 1984. With locations in West Des Moines and Ankeny, we have built our reputation on fresh seafood, quality food, friendly service, and employees who take pride in what they do. We are looking for a dependable, experienced Restaurant Manager to join our management team. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and helping a restaurant operate smoothly. We are looking for a manager who will be present on the floor, support employees, communicate well with both the front and back of house, and help maintain the standards our customers have come to expect from Waterfront. What You'll Do Oversee daily restaurant operations Lead and support front

•and back-of-house employees Help create a positive, professional work environment Train employees and reinforce service and operating standards Assist with hiring, scheduling, performance reviews, and disciplinary matters Handle guest concerns and help ensure a positive dining experience Maintain high standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and organization Monitor food safety and health department requirements Assist with inventory, ordering, and waste control Work closely with the kitchen, dining room, sushi bar, and ownership Help manage labor and daily operating costs Step in and assist wherever needed during busy periods What We're Looking For Previous restaurant management or supervisory experience preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Reliable, organized, and able to follow through Comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced environment Ability to coach employees while holding staff accountable Strong customer-service skills Experience with Toast POS preferred Seafood or culinary knowledge is a plus, but not required ServSafe certification required within 60 days of employment Availability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends Schedule Full-time Approximately 35-45 hours per week Mix of day and evening shifts Weekend availability required Schedule varies based on restaurant needs Closed holidays Benefits Competitive salary based on experience 401(k) 401(k) company matching Health insurance options Dental insurance Life insurance options Paid time off Employee discount Closed holidays Why Waterfront?
