As an integral part of our coffee shop operations, you will oversee daily activities, ensure top-notch customer service, and maintain smooth operations while working on team scheduling. Duties Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of coffee and food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction Supervise and train staff members in coffee/food preparation, service techniques, POS systems (including Square), and food safety protocols Oversee inventory control processes to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing waste Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling procedures and shift reconciliation Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff, delegating tasks, and ensuring smooth workflow during busy hours Support team members by supervising coffee/food production, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion control, and cleanliness standards Lead staff training initiatives focused on hospitality excellence, team development, and food safety compliance Experience Proven experience in quick service or coffee shop environments with a strong background in coffee preparation and customer service is a must Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience within the coffee industry is essential Familiarity with POS systems such as Square is a plus Hands-on experience with inventory control, food safety management, and managing hospitality teams Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through training, coaching, and performance management Knowledge of budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food cost management to support restaurant profitability Strong communication skills for managerial duties such as interviewing staff, conducting team training sessions, and managing customer relations Join us if you're ready to energize your career in hospitality!
