Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to lead our restaurant team to success! In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. Your leadership will inspire staff, optimize restaurant performance, and create a welcoming environment for guests. Responsibilities Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including shift scheduling, staff supervision, and ensuring smooth service flow. Lead and motivate team members through effective training, coaching, and performance management to uphold service excellence. Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and food handling regulations. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to maximize profitability. Operate POS systems for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Maintain compliance with food safety standards and conduct regular kitchen inspections to uphold hygiene practices. Support budgeting activities, profit and loss analysis, and implement strategies to enhance restaurant profitability. Experience Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and customer service. Demonstrated management skills with experience supervising hospitality teams, including staff training and development. Familiarity with POS systems is highly preferred. Prior experience in fine dining or casual dining settings, including banquet or catering experience, is advantageous. Strong understanding of food safety management, inventory control, and food production processes. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and manage restaurant operations confidently. Previous assistant manager or managerial experience within the food industry is required; hospitality management background is a plus.
