In this pivotal role, you will ensure exceptional food quality, maintain efficient workflow, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. Responsibilities Supervise all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure consistency and quality. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to maximize profitability. Oversee the use of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, sales tracking, and cash handling procedures. Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to promote skill development, adherence to safety standards, and team cohesion. Coordinate shift schedules, manage labor costs, and ensure smooth operational flow during peak hours. Enforce food safety regulations and maintain compliance with health department standards through regular inspections. Conduct profit and loss analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for increased efficiency. Requirements Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a strong background in food preparation and cooking. Demonstrated supervisory skills with experience managing hospitality teams in casual dining or fine dining settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; proficient in cash handling and basic math skills. Knowledge of inventory control, food safety management, and food production processes. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively through training & development initiatives. Prior experience in restaurant management or culinary management roles; assistant manager experience is a plus.
